She was predeceased by: her daughter Karen Abair; and her sister Joanne Carrithers (Thomas). She is survived by: her spouse Gene Barnes; her children, Thomas Barnes (Susan) and Judy Burnham (Edward); her son-in-law Daniel Abair; her grandchildren, Nicholas Barnes (Stephanie), James Abair (Carla), Samuel Abair, Jonathan Burnham (Anne) and Rachael Bourgeois (Taylor); and her great grandchildren, Daniel and Lillianna.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the ALS Foundation or Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence of Battle Creek (5470 Glenn Cross Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015) in Donna's name.
