She was predeceased by: her children, Robert Dean Jenkins and Cynthea Mae Jenkins; her sister Evelyn Cook; and her parents, Vaughn E. Cook and Dora Monabelle Cook.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Lyle C. Jenkins Sr. and George W. Morris; her husband Edward L. Drake; her children, Edwyn J. Jenkins I (Sheila) of Battle Creek, Lyle C. Jenkins Jr. (Sandy) of Battle Creek, Anthony D. Morris (Nancy) of Sturgis, MI, Aaron D. Morris (Amy) of Sturgis, MI and Linda Cross of Sault Ste; her siblings, Judith Aldrich of Union City, MI and Melvin Cook of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Brooke, Kristen, Edwyn II, Casandra, Jimmy, Ashley, Brianna, Coby and Liam; her children, Fiona, Xavier, Ashton, Caleb, Allyson, Jayce, Lyjha, Liam, Paisley, Rowan, Briella, Ava, Noah, Lea and Ted; her pets, Ginger, Boots, Wakunda, Smokey, Miss Prissy, Cha, Shadow, Salena Kyle and Buzzy; and her daughter-in-law Sheila Jenkins. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
It was Dorene's wish that her body be used in any way possible for Parkinson's research and the arrangements were made and her wish was fulfilled.
