With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Mary (Obrien) Urban of Battle Creek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her brother Thomas O'Brien. She is survived by: her son James Jay Urban; her sisters, Elaine Smith and Diane Benanto; her children, Richard P. Urban (Jane Telleen), Karen E. Siders (Greg), Michelle L. Evans (Rick) and Tracy A. Sokolowski (Roger); and her friends, Linda Fish and Shirley Callahan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
