He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Sr. Stage and Beulah Stage (Walker); his wife Virginia A. Stage; and his daughter Mary R. Leach. He is survived by: his son John Stage (Mary) of Battle Creek; and his grandchildren, John Stage, Mike, Jeff, JoAnne, Dustin Leach and Susan Clair (Paul). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
