He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J Cheyne and Genevieve Cheyne; his wife Jo Ann Cheyne (Hoskin); his stepfather Gerald Oxley; and his sister Virginia Doubleday.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Boyer (Bart), Rebecca Cheyne, Donald Cheyne (Sherry) and LuAnn Frost; his siblings, Cliff Cheyne, Marilyn Cheyne and Kathy Oxley (Woodrow); and his grandchildren, Lara Markos (Travis), Kendall Cheyne (Traci), Chip Milliman, Cooper Frost, Dexter Cheyne (Kendra), Derek Cheyne and Audrey Frost. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends.
