She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne K. Smith and Lilie M. Smith (Annis) of Athens; her sister Leila Osgood; her siblings-in-law, Franklin E. "Pete" Shaw III, J. Michael Shaw and Joyce Shaw; and her nephew Franklin E. "Skip" Shaw, IV.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas R. Shaw; her children, Thomas R. "T. R." Shaw Jr. (Kathy) of Battle Creek and Elizabeth L. Gescheidle (John) of Lake Forest, IL; her grandchildren, William T. Gescheidle of Chicago, IL and Grace M. Gescheidle of Lake Forest, IL; her niece Marilyn Taylor of Battle Creek; her nephew Bob Osgood (Donna) of Athens; and her sister-in-law Julie D. Shaw of Gull Lake.
