He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Nelson) of Battle Creek; his children, Heather (Patrick) of Lansing, Jennifer of Battle Creek, Shane of Battle Creek, Avayiah and Isaiah; his siblings, Lowell (Joan) of Nashville, Sandra Letson (Johnny) of Guntown and Clarence of Knob Noster, Missouri.; his granddaughters, Desiree Allred and Elizabeth Perkins; his great grandchild Liam Allred of Battle Creek; and his friend John Shafer of Battle Creek. He is also survived by children and grandchildren, and Gary was like both a father.
