He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Green and Leta Green of Battle Creek; and his siblings, Paul Green of California, Shirley Jones of Lansing, MI and Dorothy Shafer of Swartz Creek, MI..

He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Sly; and his daughters, Melanie Vandine (Fred) of Benson, AZ, Karen Peck (Bob) of Kodak, TN, Michelle Cowles (Lance) of Battle Creek, MI and Pamela Mitchell (Joe) of Portage, MI.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice of Kalamazoo, MI or Grace Fellowship Baptist of Battle Creek, MI.
