George Ransome Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Ransome of Battle Creek, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ransome and Francis Ransome; and his wife Mary Ransome. He is survived by: his children, Coral Tampio (Joe), Teresa Barrus (Gale), George W. Ransome, Michael Ransome (Debbie) and Mark Ransome (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Alex Tampio (Dessa), Kristan Salinas (Jimmy), Aaron Barrus, Jessica Birman (Maxx), Makenzie Ransome, Kaylee Glew (Virgil), Jonathan Lethcoe and Conner Parmenter; and his great grandchildren, Eli Tampio, Max Tampio, Ravenna Tampio, William Tampio, Shayla Chapman, Walter Birman and Abigale Birman.
