He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph F. Askler and Florence M. Askler (Vaverek); his daughter Marsha Askler; and his brother Frederick Askler (Lauraine). He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Askler; his children, Stephen Askler, Andrew Askler (Kathleen), Julie Quinn (Arthur) and Karen Sellers (Brett); his sister Katherine Eikey (Willard); his grandchildren, Melissa, Robert, Brian, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Kaitlyn, McKenzie, Alyssa and Randall; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Kaelyn, Temperence, Jaxson, Quillian and Willabelle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial tributes may be made to the Special Olympics or to a Charity of One's Choice.
