Gerald L. Beard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald L. Beard (Battle Creek, Michigan), who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glenn Beard and Evelyn Beard; his wife Marlene Jo Rumsey of Marcellus; his children, Kevin Beard (Maria) of Florida and Dr. Debra Noakes (Phil) of Marshall; his former spouses, Steve Coyner (Theresa) of Indiana and Becky Garmon of Indiana; his sister Janet Arnold (John) of Indiana; and his granddaughters, Nicole, Amanda (Madison), White and Madison (Soccer).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gary and Marlene Beard Athletic Scholarship, which honors the top scholar-athletes (male and female) at Lakeview High School. All contributions should be made to the Battle Creek Community Foundation.
