He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Douglas and Dolly Douglas (Brewer); his former wife Wanda Douglas; and his son Matthew Douglas (Mary). He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Cosgrove; his children, Gilbert Douglas II (Tory) and Jennifer Nutt (Adrian); his daughter-in-law Karen Douglas; and his stepchildren, Marjorie, Laurie, Gale, Rebecca and Michael (Stacy). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Hicks Cemetery (21761 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017).
