She was predeceased by: her parents, McKinley Ray Sr. and June Hammons (Smith); her former husband Danny Cavinder, Sr.; her brother Randy Lynn Hammons; and her niece Kimberly Sue Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Gretchen Lynn Good-Smith (Mark) of Hudsonville, MI and Danny Cavinder Jr. (Jennifer) of Battle Creek, MI; her grandchildren, Aaron, Joe, Michael, Danielle, Brianna and William; her siblings, Connie During of Kalamazoo, MI, Vickey Hullinger (Thomas) of New Haven, IN, McKinley Ray Hammons Jr. of Marion, IN, Terry Hammons (Nancy) of Elkhart, IN and Steve Hammons of La Porte; her uncle Freddy Smith (Helen) of Oliver Springs, TN; her aunt Carolyn Hammons Liles of Petros, TN; and her pet Gidgit.
