Harvey D. Shoup Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harvey D. Shoup (Battle Creek, Michigan), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Harvey left this world on June 17, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Shoup (Yawger); his parents, Otto Shoup and Marguerite Ellis; and his siblings, Sarah Rustam, Max Shoup, Barbara MacIntosh and Michael Shoup.
He is survived by: his children, Robin H. Shoup (Anita) of Athens, Stephanie Lynn Sass (Michael) of Old Fort, N. Carolina and Wendy Rae Wells (Edward) of Boyne City; his grandchildren, Erin Thompson (Earl), Curtis Shoup (Diana), Gregory Sass, Jacob Smith (Helen Kras) and Kayla Avery (Shawn); his siblings, Allen Shoup (Jeanne) and Nada O'Neal; and also, Stefan Andersson and Swedish. He is also survived by his seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mark Lutheran Church (114 E Minges Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (114 E Minges Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49015).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Binder Park Zoo or the Leila Arboretum.
