He was predeceased by: his parents, Moss May and Florence May (Ferrell); his grandson Jacob; his great grandchildren, Braeden and Alivia; and his siblings, Shelby, James May and Dorothy Caswell.
He is survived by: his children, Cheri Culp, Gloria Maurer (Douglas), Lisa Gaw (Victor), Gregory May (Jody) and Herbart May (Lisa); his brother H. L. May (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Edith May and Frank Kell. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
