It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Idamae Wyman of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her children, Tommy Barnes, Donnie Barnes and Ava Barnes; her grandson Joey Barnes; and her half-brother Wayne Culver.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Barnes Jacoby of Battle Creek, Jimmy Barnes (Katherine) of Battle Creek and Robinette Smith (Billy) of Battle Creek; and her sister-in-law Barb Hopkins-Culver. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Centrica Care Navigators (Hospice).
