He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel "Bud" Ortiz and Wilma Agnes Ortiz (Hoffman); and his brother-in-law Robert Zanetti. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Zanetti of Lansing, MI and Joe Ortiz of Albion, MI; his siblings' children, Daniel, Adam Zanetti and Alicia Cabassa (Brandon); and his great-niece Quinn Cabassa.
