He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ruth and Roy Cecil Carmicheal; his grandsons, Kenny Carmicheal (Dizzy) and Rodney Lee (Hot Rod); and his son-in-law Wes Swart.
He is survived by: his wife Mary. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
