He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McFadden and Mignon McFadden; his wife Margaret McFadden; and his brothers, Ralph D. McFadden and Walter McFadden.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia VanValkenburg, James McFadden Jr. (Julie Gates) and Karen S. Wilbourn (Dwight); his stepchildren, Joanne Klukowski and David Swartz; and his brother Melvin Joseph McFadden. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
