We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023, at the age of 63, Janean Ann Crapo of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Coldwater, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nina Klein (Pepper) of Sherwood, Michigan. and Nicholas Klein; her brother Bruce Klein; and her pets, Worf, Smurf, Gracie, Zuzu and Ami.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Mark Crapo of Battle Creek; her children, Nicholas Doubleday (Sara) of Union City, Benjamin Doubleday (Rhonda) of Athens, Melissa Vliem (Bryan) of Grand Rapids, Andrew Crapo (Rachel) of Jenison, Marcus Crapo (Beth) of Battle Creek and Adam Crapo of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Trent Doubleday, Olivia Doubleday, Aurora Woods, Elinore Vliem, Henry Vliem, Natalie Crapo, Laura Crapo, Liam Crapo and Logan Crapo; her sisters, Jolynne (Larry), Okemos, Kaylene Brouse (Jim) of Fulton and Jeri Kladder of Columbus; and her pets, Hindle and Seren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Janean's wish was no flowers; she didn't want anything beautiful to die for her. In lieu of flowers, please 'pay it forward' and make someone's day brighter.
