She was predeceased by: her parents, Harden Hoffman and Dorothy Hoffman; her parents-in-law, Frank and Marie Higgs; her brother-in-law Danny Higgs; and her granddaughter Josie Higgs.
She is survived by: her husband Steven K. Higgs; her children, Crystal Higgs, Kent Higgs (Marissa), Brent Higgs (Charlotte) and Matthew Higgs (Julie); her grandchildren, Taylor Humphries, Emylee Humphries, Drew Higgs, Ashleigh Higgs, Brock Humphries, Ellie Higgs, Evan Higgs, Lauren Higgs, Brady Higgs and Adeline Higgs; her brothers, Duane Hoffman and Gayland Hoffman (Debbie); and her brother-in-law Michael Higgs. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pennfield Presbyterian Church (7979 St Marys Lake Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Hicks Cemetery.
