He was predeceased by: his parent Mildred Fortson. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Fortson; his children, Tiekesha Fortson, Joshua Fortson (Kaycee), Asha Fortson and Tavaris Fortson; and his grandchildren, Amaysia and Alayia Fortson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens (1490 E Michigan Ave, Battle Creek, MI 49014).
