With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Armstrong (Battle Creek, Michigan), who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jo Ann departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Jo Ann leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Murphy and Rita Murphy (Hemminger); and her nephew Scott Lum. She is survived by: her son Paul Armstrong (Sara); her sister Mary Lum; and her niece Kimberly Buchanon (Chris).
Memorial contributions may also be made to the SPCA of Southwest Michigan in Kalamazoo or the Humane Society of South Central Michigan in Battle Creek.
