He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward LaForge and Virginia May LaForge (Bramble); his wife Peggy Ann Masters; his son Joseph LaForge Jr.; and his siblings, James LaForge Jr., Walter LaForge, John LaForge and Margaret LaForge-Sarber.
He is survived by: his children, Muriel Foldi (Jim) of Woodhaven, MI, Kimberly LaForge, Joshua LaForge of Battle Creek, MI and Richard Swan (Amber) of Olivet, MI; his grandchild Aubrey Foldi-Eyre (Adam); his children, Isabella Foldi, Robert LaForge, Alexandria LaForge and Paige Strickland (Nick); his sisters, Kathy Gray (Donald) and Virginia; and his sister-in-law Lorraine LaForge. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
