We bid farewell to John Drain Jr. (Battle Creek, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 5, 2024 at the age of 95. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Alice and Mary Alice (Blackmon). He is survived by: his son Stanley; his wife Fannie Lou (Mahone); his children, Shirley Montgomery (Quillian) of Ypsilanti, MI and Elder Timothy Drain (Wanda) of Battle Creek, MI; his siblings, Leon Drain (Mattie) of Kalamazoo, MI and Mary Ann Ferrell of Detroit, MI; and his daughter-in-law Beverly Milon. He is also survived by 8 grand kids, numerous great grandkids, and 4 great-great grand kids, loving nieces, nephews, spiritual sons and daughters and many friends.
