He was predeceased by: his parents, George Golyar and Mary Golyar (Buncic); his wife Virginia Daniels; his children, Roger Golyar and Marcia Rench; his siblings, Thomas Golyar, Phillip Golyar and Sharon Smith; and his close friend Martha Young.
He is survived by: his son Ronald Golyar (Teresa); and his daughter-in-law Katherine Golyar. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
