He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peruzze and Carol Peruzze; his aunt Grace Jean (Aunt Dede); and his son-in-law Alphonse Sekeet. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Peruzze Sekeet of Grand Rapids, Michigan.; his wife Carolyn Jean Sims Johnson; his grandsons, Russell Sekeet and Trevor Sekeet; his great grandchild Vincent Sekeet of Grand Rapids; his stepdaughters, Julie Bowersox (Mark) of Sherwood and Jodie Ellenwood (Matt) of East Leroy; his grandchildren, Hayden Bowersox (Lacey) of Sherwood, Hunter Bowersox of Union City, Avery and Olivia Ellenwood of East Leroy; and his great grandchild Lilah Bowersox of Sherwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harper Creek Community Schools Girls Golf Team.
