John VerPorter Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of John VerPorter of Battle Creek, Michigan is shared. John, born on July 4, 1948, passed away on July 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. VerPorter and Lenora F. VerPorter (Hillard); his son Robert VerPorter; his sister Carol; his brother-in-law Leo Boice; and his great grandchild Nylia Boyer.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Dianne" VerPorter; his children, Jodi Kucharek (Michael), Maricia Brockman and Jason Brockman; his grandchildren, Russell Boyer (Salina), Ryan Boyer (Samantha), Kevin Kucharek (Sissy), Nicholas Kucharek, Zachariah Kucharek (Carly), Carson Kucharek (Hanna) and Skyler Friend (Joy); and his sisters, Vivian Woodin (Terry) and Beverly Camren. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
