He is survived by: his wife Janet Jackson-Hartel; his daughters, Vanessa Hartel (Casey Dees) of San Angelo and Brittney Dirnbauer (Nimitz); his parents, Diane Mulhern, and Joseph Mulhern, Sr. of Taunton, Massachusetts; his brothers, Gary Gonsalves (Barbara) of New Hampshire, Joseph "Joe" Mulhern, Jr. (Jennifer) of Massachusetts and James Mulhern (Lauren) of Massachusetts; and his siblings-in-law, Donna, Dwight Jackson of San Angelo and Jon. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
