It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Daniel Vogel of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Rhinehart and Dorothy Jane Vogel (Yurko). He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Jake Vogel (Heather) of Huntington Woods, MI and Jessica Crane of Battle Creek; his granddaughter Taylor Crane; his brothers, Jack Vogel (Jeri) of Battle Creek and Jim Vogel (Sue); and his grandchildren, Jerry Vogel (Wendy) of Battle Creek, Jeff Vogel (Angie) of Michigan City, Jayne Baker (Dave) of Battle Creek, Josh Vogel (Lora) of Dadeville, AL, Jay Vogel (Venessa) of Bloomingdale, OH and Jeanne Cebelak (Jeff) of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

“I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I worked part-time with Joe at Redwood & Ross from 1971-1973 while attending KCC, Joe was such a great guy with such a great sense of humor. Joe, Chris Schwitzer and I worked for Don Butler and had a great time working together. I have many fond memories of the time we worked together.
