He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Miller and Kathleen Miller (Prince); his grandparents, Ernest and Hattie Lee Prince; his son Devin; and his brothers, Jerry Miller and William H. "Bill" Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Patrick; his grandson Malik Thompson; his siblings, Betty Howlett of Battle Creek, Dianne Adamore of Cincinnati, OH, Sandra Miller of Battle Creek, Connie Miller of Portland, OR, Deborah Crawford of Battle Creek and Gregory Miller of Grand Rapids; his stepson Alvin Stephenson II; his grandchildren, Alvin Stephenson III and Amari Stephenson; his daughter Marcie Thompson; and his goddaughter Tiffiney Smith.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
