She is survived by: her children, Bridget Denise Carter and Silas Bouyer (Sally); her grandchildren, Tysan Carter, Sicily McLaughlin, Jacob Bouyer, Jaeda Bouyer and Donovan Bouyer; her siblings, Bernice Wyrick (James), Sandra Cooper (Gerald), Valerie Barbour (Edwin) and Royal Ray Carter; her aunt Vera Simpson; and her sister Renee Sims-Irby.
