Kathryn LaVaune Schiesser Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 4, 2022, at the age of 54, Kathryn LaVaune Schiesser of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Britten and Mary Britten (Walling); and her siblings, Johnny Baker, Loretta McGinn and Val Thompson.

She is survived by: her husband Kurt Schiesser; her children, Lois Lewis (Kevin) of Battle Creek, Carissa Johnson of Battle Creek, Sara Lewis (Adam) of Battle Creek and Chase Johnson of Battle Creek; her pet Sparky; her grandchildren, Katelynn, Harley, Elizabeth, Kurtis, Lillyann, Jesse, Chase Jr. and Tucker; her father-in-law Kurt Schiesser (Joan) of Battle Creek; her sisters, Bonny Wagner (Tom) of Bellevue, Norma Law (Randy) of Cache, Bettie Henry of Battle Creek, Pamela Santora (Ben) of Bellevue, Dulcey Miller of Bellevue and Deb Hall (Bill) of Hastings; her sister-in-law Heidi Prior (Dave) of Massey; her brothers, Kenny Decker of LaBelle and Floyd Totten of Hastings; her brother-in-law Dale Schiesser (Brenda) of Marshall; her daughter Amanda Ball (Cuyler) of Battle Creek; and her granddaughter Melanie Ball of Battle Creek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
