He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Blaskie and Louise E. Artz (Bell); his wife Joan C. "Jonie" Greenway; his brother Stephen Blaskie; and his son Bradley Potter.
He is survived by: his brothers, David Blaskie and Daniel Blaskie (Deanna); his stepdaughter Tracy Vaughn-Stanton; and his caregivers, Dani and Trent. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
