He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jacob Kobes and Trina Kobes; his former wife Phyllis; his son Kenneth Kobes Jr.; and his grandson Dan Kobes.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Lynch; his children, Kay Carter (Bill) and Dr. Keith Kobes (Iris); his daughter-in-law Deb Kobes; his stepson Marcus Lynch (Cherie); his stepgrandsons, Noah (Maggie) and Jonah Lynch; and his stepdaughter Dr. Michelle Lynch. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
