He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Johnson and Edna Johnson (VanDamme); his children, Jeanne Marie Grise, Jackie Kay Garoutte and Michael Kevin Johnson; his siblings, Roland, Ernest Johnson and LaVern Solda; and his spouse Corky Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Petersen (Eric) and Scott Johnson (Sheri) of Battle Creek; his son-in-law Patrick Grise of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Ashlee Johnson, Ericka Markos, Jana Hoffman (Cody), Jeffrey Johnson, Chelsey Smith (Travis), Samantha Grise, Grant Petersen (Maria) and Ryne Petersen; his great grandchildren, Brixton, Nori, Jovi, Jude and MJ Hoffman; and his grandchildren, Jaxson, Dylan Smith, Cashton Markos and Royal Mitchell.
