He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Jean Askew and Donald Edward Askew; his stepmother Helen Askew; and his siblings, Wendy Panczyk and Conrad Askew.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Askew, Jared William Askew and Jami Fields; his stepdaughter Melissa Suggs; and his brothers, Jeff Askew (Liz) and Eric Askew (Denise). He is also survived by six grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
