He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell O. Burbank and Elizabeth Burbank (French); his children, Eric Freudenburg, Richard Osborne, Jr. and Melissa Wentzel; and his brothers, Norman of Ralph, Bill and Ben Burbank.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Burbank; his children, Keri Bruneel (Tim), Alicia Freudenburg-Barry and Russell L. Burbank; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Allyssa, Andrea, Amber, Christopher, Brookes, Joshua, Chase, Trevor, Austin and Ian; and his brothers, Jack Burbank and Gary Burbank. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
