She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mitchell and Berniedean Mitchell (Montgomery); her husband LeRoy Brown, Jr.; her son Mitchell Brown; and her siblings, Theola Brown, Lena Brown, Lula Grimes and Donald Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Denise Brown; and her grandchildren, Damita, Britten, Barrington, Brentton, Damon, April and Arianne. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
