She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Phillips and Lucy Phillips (Everett); her husband Gerald Carbine; her grandson J. R. Wetherill; and her brother Ernest "Bud" Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Winona Tuggle (Mark), Sara Waychoff, Lisa Walters (Jules), Tina Cummins, Sherry Gearhart (Todd) and Connie Clark; and her sister Lavon Cropsey (Millard). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Centrica Hospice of Battle Creek.
