She was predeceased by: her parents, Davenport Hamilton and Mary Hamilton (Adams); and her brother Jarvey Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Lenard Ray; her daughters, Bonnie Betterly and Patty Allen (Billie Tackett); her grandchildren, Angel Harvey, Martha Harvey and Faith Allen; her great grandchildren, Christopher May, Juelze Beaty, Rosay Beaty, Lazarra Harvey, Elizabeth Harris and Alex Harris; and her sister Bonnie Martin.
