Mary C. Craddock Obituary
Mary Charlene “Char” Craddock, 83, of Battle Creek, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Advantage Living Center. Char was born on October 10, 1934, in Monclo, West Virginia, the daughter of Stollie and Rena (Adkins) Hager. Char moved to Battle Creek in 1959. She was a homemaker most of her life. She was previously married to Jimmie Craddock. Char enjoyed playing bingo at the Advantage Living Center, chatting on the phone, and walking the halls of the facility pushing her trusty walker.
Char is survived by her siblings JoAnn (Bill) Mrak of Battle Creek, Paul Hager of Battle Creek, Imojean Ughetti of Charlotte, Geneva Battles of Kentwood and Richard Hager of Ethel, West Virginia and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Brenda Sue Craddock, brothers Roy, Leon, and Willis Hager and by her infant sister Sylvia Hager. Char made her home at Advantage Living Center for the last 14 years. She and her family would like to thank the nurses and staff for the care, love and companionship that was shared with her.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Royal Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Hicks Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
