It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Holmes (Battle Creek, Michigan), who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alta Gibson and Leslie Gibson of Battle Creek; her daughters, Diana Wilson (late David) of Dowling and Janet Coats (Charles) of Lansing, Michigan; her son-in-law Al Benneian of Phoenix, AZ; her sisters, Barbara Yohe and Violet Gogel of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Jamie Wilson, Jeremy Coats, Kelly Coats, Erica Coats, Nathan Wilson and Henry Bromin; and her caregiver Mindy Marko. She was also cherished by sixteen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Battle Creek, Michigan or Centrica Care Navigators formerly Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
