She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Prough and Mary Prough (Lucas); her son Douglas Smith; and her siblings, Richard, Clinton, Leonard Prough, Wanda Snyder and Betty Wright.
She is survived by: her sons, Denis Smith (Susan) of St. Petersburg, FL. and David Smith (Wendy) of Battle Creek; and her daughter-in-law Susan Smith of Battle Creek. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
