She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Henry Clemmons and Irma Jean Clemmons (McPhearson); and her brother Ervin Clemmons, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Otis Matthews; her sons, Kelby Matthews (Brenda) of Battle Creek, MI and Otis Jermaine Matthews of Kalamazoo, MI; her grandchildren, Mercedes Matthews of Battle Creek, Xander Matthews of Battle Creek, Kelby Matthews Jr. (Jade) of Battle Creek, MI, Keyshaun Matthews of Battle Creek, MI, Kierra Matthews of Springport, MI and Chantel Matthews of Kalamazoo, MI; her siblings, Teresa Graham of Kalamazoo, MI and Tyrone Clemmons of Detroit, MI; and her close friend Leeann Blanche.
