She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hout and Issabella Van Hout (Carrigan); her husband Clyde T. Remaley; her grandson Wilhelm "Bill" Lahn; and her sisters, Iris, Josephine, Virginia and Peggy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela DeVoll (John) and Paula Remaley; her foster children, Nancy Willbur (Jim) and Jack Gardner (Carol); and her grandchildren, Christina DeVoll, Scott DeVoll (Sarah), James Lahn (Jessica), Heidi Willbur, Trevor Willbur (Carrie), Jennifer Hinkle (James), Jodi Cullingford (Chris) and Jonathon Gardner (Heaven). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
