Crandell of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Mecosta, Michigan, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Crandell and Della Crandell (Eurick); his siblings, Alberta Murphy (Kipp), Norm Crandell (Cathy) and Gordon Crandell (Donna); and his son Steve Crandell.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Crandell (Beimfohr Zalner); his daughter Sherri Pascoe (Gay); his son-in-law Tim Pascoe; his stepsons, Tom Zalner (Wendy) and Jeff Zalner (Courtney); his grandchildren, Nathan Gay (Cara), Brian Gay (Nicole Shephard), Kali Zalner, Jessica Zalner (Derrick Elizondo), Lacy Wheeler, Caleb Trumbull (Ashley), Kennedy Wheeler-Kinne and Brady Black; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Chloe, Jonathan and Ryan Gay; his sister-in-law Kay Dingwall; and his former spouse Vianne Nichols.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elara Caring Hospice, Humane Society of South Central Michigan, St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnels to Towers.
