He was predeceased by: his parent Janet Felter (Bates); and his brothers, Steve Carney and Jeff Andrews. He is survived by: his son Levi Bates (Tiffany); his sister Tammy Kilbourn; his grandchildren, Landon, Aamira, Ian and Nadia; and his uncle Tom (Helen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He loved riding his Harley and participated in many charity runs to help raise money for those in need.
