He was predeceased by: his mother Lois Willavize (Bretz); his wife Sherry Walkinshaw; his brother Thomas Willavize (Donna); his sisters-in-law, Billie Willavize and Vicky Bowling; his stepmother Mary Cuyler; and his son-in-law David Zeeryp.
He is survived by: his father Jack Willavize; his children, Tina Zeeryp, Becky Vinyard (Brian) and Michael Willavize; and his siblings, James Willavize, John Willavize (Terry), Randy Willavize (Nancy), Penny Leonard (Larry) and Marcey Little (Greg). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
