He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley May Bechtol (Spencer); and his sister Shirley May Crawford. He is survived by: his father Arthur Leroy Bechtol; his siblings, David Bechtol (Nancy) and Linda Stevens (Glen); and his nieces, Misty Crawford, Heidi Boyce, Elisabeth Stevens and Sarah Schierbaum.
